שממנו סבל בילדותו ועקב קשיי השפה העברית.[4] \n \n \n \n בניגוד לציירים ישראלים רבים, ציוריו של פיצ'חדזה אינם עוסקים במציאות הפוליטית בישראל של תקופתו ואינם יוצרים דיאלוג עם סגנונות האמנות המקובלים בה. רבים מתייחסים לציוריו כאל תיאור פנימי של התודעה והחוויה של מהגר הנמצא כלוא בין שתי מציאויות מנוגדות ואינו משתחרר מכובד זיכרונותיו ועולמו הפנימי. ברבות מיצירותיו המהגר מתואר כמודבק על גבי הנוף החוזר של שני ההרים, ונראה תלוש מהמציאות שבה הוא חי. המזוודות, שאותן הוא נושא בציורים, וגם מופיעות כנושא בפני עצמו, מסמלות את חוויית הארעיות והתלישות שלו אחד מהמאפיינים הייחודיים לו הוא צביעת כל הבד בשחור לפני תחילת העבודה. כאשר נשאל בראיון לרינו צרור מדוע הוא עובד כך ולא מתחיל את ציוריו על הבד הלבן כמקובל, הוא ענה: \"אנשים אמרו שחור זה חושך, זה מוות, זה מדכא. אני אמרתי להפך: אני בא לשחור עם פנס ומאיר אותו\".[4] \n \n \n \n \n בעשורים האחרונים קנה לעצמו פיצ'חדזה שם כאחד מהציירים הישראליים המוכרים והבולטים בישראל. בשנת 2003 הציג תערוכת יחיד במוזיאון תל אביב. בשנת 2008 נערכה תערוכה רטרוספקטיבית לכבודו ביפו, \"מאיר פיצ'חדזה. עבודות 1983 \u2013 2008\". \n \n \n \n \n מאיר פיצ'חדזה נפטר בגיל 54, ב-4 בפברואר 2010, ממחלת הסרטן. הוא נקבר בבית העלמין קריית שאול בתל אביב. במלאת שנה למותו נערכה לכבודו תערוכה בשם: \"האדם מחפש משמעות\" (כשם ספרו של ויקטור פראנקל). התערוכה, שאצרה אליה בן דב, התקיימה במרכז חייק לאמנות עכשווית ביפו. \n \n \n \n \n עיריית תל אביב קבעה לוחית זיכרון בכניסה לביתו של מאיר פיצ'חדזה ברחוב אמיל זולא. עבודה איכותית מאוד אין אפשרות לתת הצעה אחרי המכירה פחות ממחיר התחלתי ."},"lotNumber":"11","title":{"he":"מנגנת הימני העליון: \n \n \n מופיע השביל המוביל לשער האריות, ולצידו שער הרחמים הסגור. ברקע האוניברסיטה של הר הצופים ובניין אוגוסטה ויקטוריה. \n \n \n באריח המרכזי העליון \n \n \n מופיע הר העצה הרעה ומתחתיו כנסיית הקבר ומתחתיה מסגד עומר. \n \n \n משמאל למסגד נראה מתחם בית מחסה של רוטשילד בעיר העתיקה ומאחוריו מגדל דוד. \n \n \n מימינו של מגדל דוד מקטע קטן של הכותל ומינרט שלצידו. \n \n \n בחלק השמאלי של אותו אריח מופיע שער האשפות. \n \n \n המבנה הגבוה המחודד במרכז האריח הוא המוריסטאן. \n \n \n האריח האחרון בשורה זו מופיעה הכנסת וכנסיית דורמיציון. \n \n \n באריח הימני בשורה התחתונה \n \n \n רואים את הכנסייה הרוסית ומשמאלה גת שמנים. \n \n \n באריח המרכזי למטה מופיע קבר אבשלום \n \n \n קבר בני חזיר וקבר זכריה. \n \n \n באריח האחרון ניצב היכל הספר על ההר ובמרכז טחנת הרוח במשכנות שאננים. ומתחתיו בית החולים משגב לדך. \n \n \n \n \n \n ליצור את ששת האריחים היה מורכב ביותר. \n \n \n אם אחד האריחים נסדק בתהליך השריפה או קיבל גוון שונה. לא היה ניתן להשלים את כלל התמונה. \n \n \n ולכן \n \n \n תמונה של
